About the Artist John Korpi

John studied advanced photography at the University of Colorado in the mid-seventies and has been a resident of Maui, Hawaii since 1984. Maui is where his passion for nature photography emerged.

John's work noticeably evolved to being more artful and heartful as he acclimated to the wonderful mana (energy) of the islands. This is where he has been creating what he is more well known for - images of fine art photography; especially his super-macro floral art-photos.

Korpi shares with us that the best images appear when he lets go of wanting to control the way the image should be, gets out of the way and allows a flower to express itself as a "flow-er", flowing with it's beauty....resulting in very colorful, mood-elevating works of art. His intention is to extend the Aloha (love) of the islands to you and to give you flowers that last and bring you, your friends and family, JOY, for many years to come.

All images are offered as glossy photo prints also. Archival inks are used to insure longevity.
